    Good Morning,

I saw this article in the NYT this morning: Air Service Cutbacks Hit Hardest Where Recession Did

While CVG has been severely reduced (sadly), I thought it was still a hub...the DL Route Map still identifies it as a hub. I do not remember an official announcement de-hubbing CVG...wow, could the press be wrong about something??

    Perception is reality.... :(

Saying it's still a hub doesn't make it a hub. Saying you've got the best FF program doesn't mean you do.

I'll be flying to Cincy in a few weeks, but not by airline. Partly because of TSA and partly because of DL (cutbacks).

And for those of us in cities like BNA, the "all-CR2" service has completely knocked CVG from consideration in building itineraries.

The article also informs the reader that "regional" MD-80s are being phased out by the airlines ;)
