|| Shanghai food watchdog checks KFC chicken samples ||
Food for thought.
When I go to Shanghai next year I will probably avoid chicken and eat lots of duck.
Good solution, seems natural. Safe travels.
The food in Shanghai (local, that is) is so good, there is no conceivable reason to eat KFC!
Aside that KFC is growing in China.
I have noticed over the years that P.R.C. KFC's are very popular among young Chinese... but when U.S. citizens visiting Shanghai have an opportunity to eat some of the finest Chinese cuisine in the country, why even consider KFC?
You know the mantra, " do as locals do " they " can't be wrong, right? "
I've had KFC in the Shanghai area. It was, if possible, even worse than in the US. Our hosts thought they were being polite by buying it for us for lunch. For a week.
And in Japan, it's KFC for Christmas dinner!?!?!?!
KFC truly makes in-roads.
