Many of the Star Alliance FFPs include airlines that are not part of the alliance. It might be good to put together a list here for reference. I'll add a few to start:

    E=earn, S=status, R=redeem

    BMI Diamond Club (BD)
    BMI Baby (WW) – E,R
    Jet Airways (9W) – E,R
    Qatar Airways (QR) – E,R
    Virgin Atlantic (VS) – E,R
    Transaero Airlines (UN) – E,R

    Asiana Club (OZ)
    Qatar Airways (QR) – E,R
    Etihad Airways (EY) – E,R
    EVA Air (BR) – E,R

    Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer (SQ)
    SilkAir (MI) – E,S,R
    Virgin Atlantic (VS) – E,R
    Air India (AI/IC) – E,R

    United Mileage Plus (UA)
    Aer Lingus (EI) – E,S,R
Hawaiian Airlines (HA) – E,R (note: only inter-island flights)
    Island Air (WP) – E,R
    Jet Airways (9W) – E,R
    Qatar Airways (QR) – E,R
    TACA Airlines (TA/GU/LR/RZ/WC/6Y/T0) – E,R

If you have anything to contribute, add it, and I'll try to keep the first post updated.

Are we qualifying "earn" to reflect status/level miles or not?

Continental has Eva, Virgin Atlantic, Copa, Island Air and Aeromar (and probably a couple more), though status earning varies on those.

    US Airways Dividend Miles

    Earn (Earn Preferred miles too)
    Bahamasair
    Hawaiian Airlines
    Quatar
    Royal Jordainian Airlines
    Virgin Atlantic

    Burn
    Virgin Atlanthc (coach only)
Qatar (Coach only, but there have been IT issues of late so don't count on it)
    Hawaiian Airlines (inter-island)

I'll happily make corrections if any of this is inaccurate.

I believe this should be clarified as well. Most (all?) partner airlines do allow earning of RDMs, but it's the qualifying miles that are more difficult to come by.

What does earn and burn mean? I understand the earn - look at the airline's website for the specific fare classes to see if you earn eqm. I don't get the burn part.

"Burn" refers to the ability to redeem miles for travel on that particular partner. There are situations where a partner may be available only for earning miles but not redeeming them.

It should be noted that some of these are limited partners. For example, for United, Hawaiian Airlines only credits inter-island flights, not to other locations. My friend just got burned on this distinction so be careful when using partners to look at the limitations to RDM earnings.

Add Germanwings to LH Partner List: you can earn&burn there and even buy tickets on LH stock that include Germanwings segments

If people can update their lists with the airline codes, I'll happily add them to the first post. Not sure I can do all that digging around ;)
