It seems like I am reading more and more threads, particularly at TOBB, that follow this pattern: OP is slighted somehow by AA, with the degree of the slight directly proportional to the OP's post count; OP rants about said slight; OP ends by saying, "No wonder AA is in bankruptcy!"

It seems to me that "No wonder AA is in bankruptcy!" has become the FF's version of saying "in bed" after reading your fortune. Perhaps this is a new AA game? What has AA done to you that you believe is the cause for bankruptcy?

I'm sure any airline can qualify for this treatment - just AA is the most prominent one currently in bankruptcy.

I am sad. From your thread title, I thought I would actually get to play a game.

Well, you do! It's, um, just not a traditional game. I'm still negotiating with Hasbro regarding the rights to the board version.

But if there is no board, how can I throw it across the room when I am frustrated and not winning? Especially with this topic, I would think there will be a lot of frustration and people who need a board to throw. Hopefully Hasbro will be more willing to work with you than AA is to work with AwardWallet :)

May I suggest this be the section on the board where the jail is located?

I'd say FT and inversely, respectively.

My homebase has no mainline service. And AE just eliminated MIA as a destination, reducing us to only DFW and ORD. This really really sucks. No wonder AA is in bankruptcy!

Over on the UA boards, there's the "UA/CO did/didn't do something PMUA/PMCO did, PMCO/PMUA is ruining my previous airline!"

It's the same game they've been playing for years at TOBB, just now it's AA's turn to be at fault.

Yeah, surprised that there is no AC in MCO either. Orlando is a huge Mecca for conventions and Disney nuts like myself.

AA compensated its employees too well and provided better service than the other majors on average...no wonder AA is in bankruptcy! Oh wait....

The movie I wanted to win the Oscars lost to a French silent film... no wonder AA is in bankruptcy!

    (How'd I do?)

It's all of those new planes that I've been riding in for the last 10 years . . . and those great flat panel screens at every seat on every domestic flight.

Too many MPers are padding their post count instead of flying. No wonder AA is in bankruptcy!

AA made my Liger fly in the hold even though I checked in a full three minutes before cutoff. It's almost as though they don't care about the fact that I fly almost 2000 miles a year with them. No wonder AA is in bankruptcy!

I was hoping to pad my "like" count, but that's not happening in this thread . . .

Anyway, I'm pretty sure all of the good free food and drinks in the Admirals Clubs is the root of the bankruptcy.

Alas, too much leisure traffic means that there's not room to profit from an AC in MCO.

But far more important is the simple Phineas and Ferbosity of your user name. I used all of my Disney points to buy a Perry the Platypus wall clock. May Isabella snag her man someday.

Malev is gone, Mexicana is not operating, British Airways devalued its FF program, Qantas found wing cracks in their A380s... No wonder AA is in bankruptcy!

I was going to like you, but you hoped a little too much. So, I'll quote you. And I don't hate you. But I can't like you. :D
