Sad that Mr. Rempel can't commit to an opening date!
The problem with the pipes and the foundation is not yet fully resolved. The WAA does not wish to take delivery of a defective building.
I had a tour. It is a nice functional terminal.
Geez, and you didn't invite me to tag along?
I did not know you were in town.....
I'm not..............! But I know where to find you when I am !
I have a general idea where you are..... not the city but the country !!!!!
LOL.......back on topic......So the terminal will be good when it does finally open? What about the lounge facility?
I did not get to go in..... I had the impression that it was not yet completed....
Did you ask any pointed questions?
I did not wish to embarass my host....
Did you look st the video in the link in the first post? It gives some idea of the grandeur.
Maybe we should organize a YWG Do. Think we can get in the day before they officially open?
If we do, do you think they will still open it then next day?
So long as it opens before next winter, will need a rather dedicated group for a DO in November

Talk about damning with faint praise
Wish they could have benchmarked with an Asian airport in mind like SIN (then again many who use YWG have never used SIN/ICN etc.)! It does look good.....while the existing terminal has been long forgotten, and has become very natty!
