Any idea when the website will be refreshed? Isn't it still the old Continental website with a United logo? It's pretty funny to compare UA's website to AA or DL...just curious...

I don't get all the lack of love for the old CO.com. I find it incredibly functional. You can check upgrade standby lists up to 2 days before departure. You can check if a flight is sold out/oversold. You can check the inventory on particular classes of service. It has an incredibly functional award booking engine. I much prefer it to AA and even a bit to DL.

Haters gonna Hate... I think the CO website is quite functional and easy to navigate so they got five stars from me for that one.

Now only if they would show the cheaper multi-leg itineraries without having to search for it. ;)

Or if it would show one page with the outbound flights on the left and the return flights on the right with radio buttons so you could select both directions on one page and see the price vs going back and forth between outbound and return flight pages

Pretty does not equate to functional. AA is still generally okay...DL is often slow and it often takes many more steps to find information that once took far less time.

    Agree. Functionally, it rocks.

I agree. Both DL and AA devote large sections of their sites to displaying "fluff" like graphics and ads/promotions. The UA site dedicates far more real estate to actual functional information or entry fields.

It's not as pretty a web experience, but I find it much easier to find what I want and to give it commands than I do other airline sites.

Yep, if it's not broken, do not try to fix it! ;)

Please let's not mess with the functionality. By all means make it look prettier but this is one of the few things that UA does very well.

Until they decide to change the functionality and can't be bothered to test the changes before rolling them out.
