Still showing no availability through the entire year - hoping this changes sometime soon as I'm headed to Chicago in June and would love to check out the newest Waldorf.

The Waldorf Chicago is now available for booking on points - 70k per night in June .vs $505 AAA rate. It's lot of points to spend but I'd rather save the $1,010 plus tax for the couple of nights I'll be staying.

I'll be sure to report back after my stay there next month. MVP code gave me (what I consider) a great rate for a property of this level. I was going to stay at the Conrad but for $30 more... I'm all over the Waldorf. I can't wait to check it out.

I used to live down the street from there. Please do report back. I will be anxious to here how it is now. I remember the residences in the upper tier of the building took half a floor. A ton of space for a pretty penny.

What is the rate you pay? I'm surprised that the Waldorf Astoria was $30 cheaper a night!

Cannot wait to here back about your experiences at this property!:)

Waldorf was $30 more than Conrad. Of course, I just looked again and the Conrad is down to $105 a night with advance purchase. I love how you can look at a room and the price change minutes later. Conrad was $235 when I looked an hour ago and with no advance purchase offer.

Heading to the WA on Friday. I can't wait to check it out.

Has anyone else been there recently?

$70 seems like a deal for dinner here for 2 - I don't have plans to be in Chicago until the summer but if I was going before April 18th I'd definitely check it out.
