Hey, that's not bad. It looks like a good mix between the old C and F kits. I really like kits that include Purell-type stuff...

Looks much improved over the old UA C kit.

Funny, the facial tissue package is one of the old PMUA style packages, with the same font. Any sign of a tulip on that one?

looks like a downgrade from the CO BF kits.
So far with the merger UA has been rushing to downgrade BF. :(

Guess it was cheaper than upgrading F. We all know that sCO BF >= sUA F.

Does anyone else think it's tacky to deliver the kit inside a plastic bag? I understand it would be nice to have some kind of "seal" like a ziplock or thread to show it hasn't been opened, but at least take it out of the plastic before presenting it to the passenger...

There's stuff printed on the plastic actually for people to read, I don't think it's too tacky but compared to other airlines that don't have plastic on the Amenity Kits YMMV.

I can appreciate that, but when printed on the clear plastic, you can't read any of it. It'd be nice if they printed it on an opaque plastic bag, kinda like the translucent material they use for the earplugs.

It seems like if they just put a slip of paper inside with the contents, that would solve both problems.

I believe they did that with the old kits to explain the Murad amenities.

I received my amenity kits from SQ F in plastic. The FAs did not remove it from the plastic prior to presenting it to me.

I like Philosophy products. They are nice.

Just wondering, but how in the world is this an upgrade over old UA C, and a downgrade from CO F? IMHO this kit although packaged slightly differently is nearly identical to both old kits. It's a very practical kit but short on flash and generally cheap products. Not complaining, I use it every time I get it.

FWIW basically the same kit I got in SQ Y long haul the other week PEK-SIN...

I'd say the packaging is an upgrade from the CO kits which were looking a bit dated. I do like the philosophy products better than the escents. While the scent of lotion always reminded me of my last BF flight, my family always said "ugh, are you putting on that Continental lotion again?"

The print indicates in which country each product was made.

I received the kit on May 11 and didn't realize it was new. Mrs Kwai likes philosophy products so she'll be happy to get the amenity kit (as always).

While I haven't opened the kit yet, the bag itself has a better look than the old UA C zippered plastic envelope amenity kit.
