New Starbucks Free Drink Record Set With $54 Sexagintuple Vanilla Bean Mocha Frappuccino
Speaking of a free drink at Starbucks... I use Award Wallet. Last week they sent me a reminder that I have a free drink in my account that's about to expire.
I'm not a regular at Starbucks, so the reminder came as a pleasant surprise.
Yes, but how much did the ensuing diabetes treatment cost?
What is the most expensive "normal drink" one can order as a freebie?
$54.75? Must have been at an airport location!
They told me I could order any size of any drink they sell. No restrictions. I don't know if they meant this to apply for the $54.00 drink. At the rate I go to Starbucks, I'll have to wait 6 months to try.
This doesn't count. They rang up 60 add shots of espresso. No human being can handle 60 shots of espresso, there isn't a normal item on the menu that has 60 shots in it. I could go today and ring up 61 if I wanted to. Or 500. They're just ringing up multiple items together. Sure, the barista wanted to play the game too, but adding 60 shots to a $5 drink isn't a reasonable request. At the end I guess it counts because he got away with it, but this isn't a real drink. It's an arbitrary kitchen sink.
