So I saw it on the website now it's on my mb: the new SP branding with the bright red banner looks like MS Dos! Awful decisions!

I'm in Boston today and there are none of those. I wonder I this is what was decided when they implemented sky priority across the board.

    But really ugly

Why does the Sky Priority side have two arrows? Do they think: A) non-status folks would be confused by two arrows; B) status holders are thick-headed and NEED two arrows; or C) BOTH? :)

Just received the "Travel faster on our partners with Sky Priority email"

New perks are landing on our SkyTeam® airline partners.*

Beginning this month, the Sky Priority® suite of services that you currently enjoy on Delta are now becoming available on Alitalia, Air France-KLM, China Airlines and Korean Air.

The expansion of Sky Priority means that you and SkyTeam Elite Plus members, as well as First and Business Class customers, will start to experience premium airport services when flying on SkyTeam airlines.

Sky Priority services will roll out to our other SkyTeam airline partners and more than 800 airports over the next several months. And by early 2013, these services will be available at more than 1,000 airports around the globe.

So on your next Delta or SkyTeam flight, look for Sky Priority signs that will start to appear at select SkyTeam airports to take advantage of the following priority services to help speed you through the airport, and then around the world.

    • Check-in
    • Baggage drop-off, handling and delivery
    • Security lines (where available)
    • Boarding
    • Service at airport ticket offices and transfer desks
Visit delta.com/skypriority for more information and the latest updates. We hope to see you onboard a Delta or SkyTeam flight soon.

*The 15-member SkyTeam® global alliance includes the following airlines: Aeroflot, Aeromexico, Air Europa, Air France, Alitalia, China Airlines, China Eastern, China Southern, Czech Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Kenya Airways, KLM, Korean Air, TAROM and Vietnam Airlines.

Lets hope it is CONSISTENT! Of course, the IT systems would have to communicate better IMHO for this to happen...makes carrying credentials important, especially when traveling with a partner other than DL, KL, or AF.

I was going to come on here and post about the ugliness I saw when I just checked in for my DEN-MSP flight tomorrow. I should have know that someone would have already posted.

We'll see how it goes tomorrow at 6:30. I am in the appropriate cabin, so I may not see the disaster that may unfold.

I just wonder who sold them on the idea that Spring Break would be a good time to implement a new boarding process. Kettle-o-Rama. The only times that might be worse would be the Thanksgiving or Christmas weekends

I don't understand the Dos reference. Did that product have packaging that looked like this?

My experience is all major carriers (st or otherwise) offer this exact service level to high status FFs or premium cabin pax. No aspect of this service could really be called "new."

It's not been consistently applied for intra-European flights (in terms of boarding) in the past, so this could be a positive move if it is in the future. It does seem to be more of a uniformity of marketing gimmick than anything though.

I wonder if they will get rid of those ugly yellow baggage tags as well.

Wish they would have kept the DL font.

I wouldn't care what color the baggage tags were if they worked. However, it always seems exceptional when they do.

Another well thought out change made by the Delta IT folks -- or whoever selects their colors --

anyone who knows anything about graphics knows that red is a color that you use when you want to scare people or make them mad ---

That's why it's used for things like stop signs, stop lights and fire exits.

Of course, if their objective was to make me mad.... <lol>

When I saw it first thing I thought was Air France won the design argument.
