Well in case you were all wondering, NH rolled out it new PJ sizes.
Gone are the one size track suits.

My LL was a fairly generous cut.
Dark blue but not the nylon track suit they have been offering for the last year.

Cotton, sturdy similar to the older light blue cotton/oxford cloth that proceeded the track suit.

I didn't notice a Takashimaya tag in the pants but I didn't check the top.

And no, your not supposed to take them home with you!

Is this on all routes, or just the ones with the new products (e.g. NRT-FRA, NRT-JFK)?

Nope. Should be coming to NH F cabins worldwide. Part of the service as opposed the equipment. I was on NH007.
At 2m 100kg, the pants worked.

Had these on Feb 14 ORD-NRT, msgleff and I were the only ones in the F cabin. :) Found them perfectly comfortable for the long flight, more comfortable than I remember the previous ones being (tops always seemed overstarched).

Haha. Gary are you going to count this as a Solo NH F experience? Didn't even try the top. My 2m wingspan means this is usually a waste of time with NH cabin wear. Maybe I'll try on the top next week. ;-)

Well it's finally the first and only flight I've ever been on without other passengers in the F cabin. Whether flying solo or with my wife.

Plenty of near-misses with only 1 other passenger in the cabin, had a few of those last year on CX and I've had it on TN and others.

Having the NH F cabin all to ourselves was great, service was phenomenal.

Did you notice any differences from the last time you took a TPaC with NH? How was the food? Drink? Entertainment?

Entertainment was similar -- which is to say better than it used to be but still lacking compared to CX/SQ and I didn't bother with any of it, I was far happier watching DVDs burned to my laptop.

Food was all high quality, as it always it, though the snack menu isn't as extensive as it used to be. They've cut back a wee bit but I have no qualms whatsoever with the food. And there's Krug and a decent Bordeaux, I really don't claim to know my sake...

I'll have another NH F transpac in a week, and there'll be a trip report..

Well the catering might be a tad tastier ex. NRT! I would try and have some of the Japanese food selections. Did they still have Japanese sweets on the menu? (I would ask Schoflyer but.....)!

I believe NH ask F pax to return the PJ at the end of the flight. Not sure if they have changed that practice recently or not

Somehow the thought of recycled PJs, especially in F, goes against the grain. Ick. The old PJs were awful and uncomfortable. Give me a pair of Van Laacks any time. :)

Agreed. I don't understand why they don't give these out given how much you pay to fly F these days.

Good to know. I believe that PJ in C was added when they introduced the staggered seats

I also flew F (NRT-IAD) recently, and not only did I get to take home the sleepwear that I wore, the purser gave me another fresh set (in a bag) to take home with me!

In case anyone was wondering, they're Phiten-branded.

The ones in F and C look the same to me. Both from Phiten

The C PJ are only available on the NEW 773. So if you don't get the staggered seats, don't expect any PJs in C :p

Yeah, the NH homepage says that only C pax on the new 773s (NRT-FRA/LHR/JFK) will get the outfit, while all F pax on all flights get them.

Hey there! Good to see you checking this place out. Your knowledge and experienced is very much welcomed. Some of us moved over.... others didn't but i think most of the ANA and JAL crew moved with a few exceptions.
