    Fellow frequent flyers!

    We're launching a mobile app focused on swiftly sharing and keeping up with travel among your close friends and family, because it matters.

    We keep it pure essentials for the frequent traveler - just destinations and dates shared with only your selected crew - so it's easy, smart, to-the-point.

    Choose from your existing contacts, add trips that only they can see, see where your friends are off to, and start getting more out of your travel.

    Early adopters - email me at eric[at]wayferapp[dot]com for an advance copy or to get on the launch list. We will be launching in iTunes within the month.

    Most importantly, we treasure your feedback - this is our Version 1.0 - and it's for you, the modern-day voyager - so your thoughts are gold to us!

    Check it out, give it a shot, see how it helps you! More info at wayferapp[dot]com

    All the best,
    the wayfer team

    What does it do that a shared Google calender won't do? (other than not share the info with the secret Google algorithms)

    @Gargoyle - hey there!

    Shared calendars are bulky, not designed specifically for travelers, and (as we all know) often not kept up to date as a result. Plus, I know many travelers find the sharing permissions to get just who they want can get clumsy.

    Our platform was built solely to share and track travel with exactly who you want. Our design and features are uniquely geared to make it easier to do that. Even if your currently satisfied with the shared calendar approach, I think you’ll find our app easier, more intuitive and streamlined.

    As a result, you can max utility. You should see all your upcoming travel in one showcased “line-up”, not mixed in across a calendar with everything else!

    See more features below…

    Oh, and ps, if you end up wanting to add a trip to your iCal for reassurance, our app let’s you do that in one tap too!

    Nice chatting with! Hope this helps!

    @wanderingaramean - hello!

    Users of our platform enjoy our differentiating features, used to their benefit. See more below.

    In short, we have a completely different interface and a unique focus on sharing travel (some features below). Also, here's glimpse of what we can enable you to do.

    Whether you are checking where your friends are off to for the weekend, seeing who is coming to town while you're home, or finding out your friend is traveling to the same city you are (by chance!), wayfer illuminates that geographic network information in real-time and on a projected basis.

    Some features include:

    - Sharing and keeping up with travel in your select social circle are front and center with us, so:

    -- Track your trips in one showcase “lineup,” not hidden in with the rest of your calendar (as referenced above)
    -- Keep up with fellow friends' travel lineups in your social circle, so you can see trip destinations & dates your friends are going on and streamline group travel plans
    -- Eliminate missed chances to see who you want - even if by chance - with our “Who’s Here” that works in advance and realtime

    Plus we are free!

    Hope this helps and feel free to email me eric[at]wayferapp[dot]com!

    I might have a more positive impression if the OP, who joined MP two days ago, hadn't double posted this commercial announcement in two separate threads that the OP started in different fora on MP.
