XL Airways, an independent French low-fare airline, announced summer season nonstops to Paris from Las Vegas, New York, and San Francisco. XL says flights will begin May 26, but that schedules and fares will be available on its website "shortly." Although we don’t have the details yet, we can still guess that flights from each city will probably be fewer than daily—maybe even just two or three a week.

One fact isn’t a guess: The A330s XL uses are total cattle cars, with nine-across seats in economy rather than the standard eight-across.

No listed flights and it is sounds like a brutal economy experience.

I hope these are some low fares.

    Anybody experience flying with them?

*EDIT* I answered my own question. Review on skytrax from 2010:

They are also supposed to offer a premium class seat on an A330.
Could be interesting based on the price / service offered.
I'm guessing this will be their Galaxy Class:

On Airbus A330-200, a private cabin is located at the front of the aircraft, equipped with comfortable leather seats, daily press and magazines, complimentary pre take-off champagne, choice of hot meals and desert, fine wines, individual entertainment screen, comfort kit and warm towels are all features available in Galaxy.

I flew a former XL 767 with 2-4-2 configuration on a Ryan International contract flight KWI-BWI in 2009...THAT was a tight fit! I will not be looking to XL for my TATL journeys any time soon!

Someone has to ask: Does XL have a FF program?
