As I was waking up this morning I could have sworn I caught the tail end of a radio report on a new CLT - LHR route on an A330...thought it left at like 10:00 p.m. I can't find info on it...anyone?

The return flight LHR-CLR leaves London at 10am...maybe that is what you heard?

There is a new flight (presumably with the new LHR slots that AA just bought) to reinstate the PHL-LHR flight that US/AA had to give up in order to get the merger approved by the EU. That flight is loaded as a 10pm departure (and showing as being on a new A350 to boot) come this September.

The A350 won't be delivered yet.

The new flight is an A330 and it is a second daily frequency on CLT-LHR operating using the LHR slot acquired from Cyprus Airways.
