We're always looking for ways to make things even better, and today we are pleased to announce an additional benefit to Crossover Rewards - Unlimited Complimentary Upgrades for Platinum members. This new benefit will be added to the current benefits already being received. The information page at spg.com/crossoverrewards will be updated soon to reflect these new benefits.

    Terms and Conditions
SPG Platinum members are eligible for day of departure upgrades on most published economy fares on Delta and certain Delta-designated codeshare flights in North America within or between the United States (excluding Hawaii) and Bermuda, Canada, Central and South America, The Caribbean, and Mexico. Unlimited Complimentary Upgrades are subject to availability, may not be available on all flights or in all markets, and are not valid for travel to/from Hawaii, Transatlantic and Transpacific destinations. Complimentary Upgrades are not available on flights to/from South American cities that are serviced with our BusinessElite® product (i.e., Buenos Aires, Argentina; Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; Lima, Peru; Caracas, Venezuela). For travel booked using a SkyMiles Companion Certificate, neither the paid primary passenger nor the companion passenger will be eligible for complimentary upgrades. We limit the seats available for use with complimentary upgrades and may not make seats available on all flights. Changes in reservations on ticketed itineraries are permitted only pursuant to the rules of the original economy fare purchased. Where permitted, changes may require payment of a change fee and/or any difference in the applicable fare. Upgrades are not eligible on fares that do not allow mileage accrual. Upgrades are not eligible on Award or Pay with Miles tickets. SPG Platinum member companions are not eligible for complimentary Companion Upgrades. Upgrades do not affect SkyMiles mileage accrual. Mileage accrued is based on the original fare purchased. Flight cancellation, substitution of equipment, or other irregular operations may result in the cancellation of confirmed upgrades. Delta's liability, if any, in the event of irregular operations is governed by the terms of its Contract of Carriage and shall be based upon the original fare purchased.

Any idea at what "level" these clear? For instance, I'm Alaska MVPG, which translates to Delta GM, but unlike other GM's I can't clear until day of flight. Will these be "on par" with other GM equivalents like Alaska MVPG status? Probably a complex question but I thought I'd ask.

Other than linking our account in Crossover rewards, anything we need to do on the Delta side of the house to ensure these are available?

GREAT perk, BTW. It gives me some advantage on Delta without having to worry about full status. Of course I'd love if Platinum 75 got PM equivalent and Platinum 100 got DM equivalent... but now I'm just being greedy!

For eligible flights, you would be given priority behind Medallions, Medallion Companion, and KLM, Air France, and Alaska elite upgrades.

Be sure to book an eligible flight is all I can think of.

If I did not get the Crossover Starpoints from taking eligible Delta flights after about 4 weeks, should I be checking with Delta or SPG?

    Hi Christina, Thanks.
Does that mean (inversely) that if I have miles not posted for a hotel stay, I should contact SPG?

Delta finally credited me my missing Starpoints for flights I took back in mid March.
Now waiting for SPG to credit me the SkyMiles for a stay at the start of April.
I really like the cross over benefits.
Most of the time, they post pretty quick.
    Thanks!
