Does anyone know what kind of headphones they give you in the newly updated BA 777's? Debating whether or not I should bring my own. I really wouldn't use them any other time during the trip other than the flights over and back.

They are noise cancelling, but they aren't really great and if I recall don't work without being plugged in to something like audio or video. Last in't trip I DIDN'T take my bose since I figured it was one less thing to carry, but I would have preferred having them with me compared to the ones in 747 and NF 777. F

If you are going to sit and watch movies, listen to music, listen to your own ipod connected via the IFE system, then they are fine.

They're the same headphones as used in F and CW across the fleet - not particularly great (non-branded), but as noted above, they are noise-cancelling.

From my experience they do the job.
