Just did a quick search - cheapest fare I could find ex-SEA is $163 o/w. Boy do I miss those $240 r/t transcon fares!!!

I have been doing some SEA-DFW/ORD-BOS several times over the past few months. At first I thought it was targeted.

I tried to find something decent LAX-DFW-BOS but could only find $474 and you have to spend the night. Still, that's 11188 eqm

So would a MULTICITY routing of STL-DFW-BOS-DFW-STL qualify?

It should. I have a BOS-DFW-NRT-ICN-NRT-DFW-BOS coming up in May, I expect to get DEQM (very unneeded though) for the BOS-DFW segments.

Your math is off. This is 8716 EQM. The whole trip isn't doubled... just the DFW-BOS pieces.

No problem, it's hard to keep track of all these promos. It's raining EQM.

Which is good but also bad since it means more competition for those upgrades.

I'm a leisure traveler, so I'm usually booked and requested 4-6 months in advance. I'm hoping I'm not competing too heavily in that case.

    If so ......

Just a note from posts on TOB that this promo's T&Cs were updated to clarify the description of ticketing/round trip which removed the awkward same fare class of original promo. Also adds that open jaws are fine. Only bad thing is that a tickets must be purchased on April 3 or later.

Needless to say I'm thrilled about my 2x Boston trips that I have to ticket this week for May travel! 9568 EQM from SEA-DFW-BOS.

I have to head to DFW from WAS soon. DCA-JFK-BOS-DFW-BOS and then BOS-DCA on the US Shuttle is significantly cheaper than just DCA-DFW-DCA.

What to do, what to do.... (I think you know the answer!)

I hate those kind of decisions. But sometimes price wins out :(

Cheaper, plus double EQM between BOS and DFW actually made it a very easy decision! :)

You AA flyers should be thanking your lucky stars that Virgin, Spirit, and JetBlue have started competing with AA on these routes recently, thus the reason for these DEQM promos!
