New €17 million business centre opens at Malta Airport

    A new €17 million business centre has opened at Malta Airport, with an 80% occupancy rate.

    The sustainable, eco-friendly 22,000sqm development has welcomed tenants such as Vodafone, Air Malta, Bank of Valletta, Forestals Group, Talbot & Bons, Maleth Aero, Hyperion Aviation, Hermes Aviation, MiChild, AgriHoldings, Headlines Newsagent and Momentum Consult.

    Malta International Airport chairman, Michael Hoeferer, said: “Airports all over the world are realising their potential in becoming a hub of end-user activity rather than just a point of transition.

    “Hence the major decision to invest in a business centre.

    I think this is part of the general regeneration of Malta International Airport and, hopefully, Air Malta.

    While Air Malta still has a long way to go, there's definite signs that it's starting to improve. I have a lot of faith in its very hands-on CEO, Peter Davies.
