Is it just me, or is the BA award search engine just enormously buggy? I have tried at various times of the day for the past few days to look for inventory (on both BA and partners) and always get this message
    Error

    • Sorry, there's a problem with our systems. Please try again, and if it still doesn't work, you might want to try again later.

Thankfully, I got a helpful agent over the phone (and only a 7 min hold time) who was able to waive the $25 fee, but I have had some difficulty convincing other agents in the past.
    Anyone else have better luck?

Yeah, though I have had that problem occasionally.

Booked SFO-HKG, HKG-DXB, and a couple of short hauls on BA's site.

Have seen that occasionally, but not often. Have booked BKK-LAX (Cathay Pacific) SYD-ADL (Qantas), and ADL-MEL (Qantas) thru BA recently with no issues....glad you got the booking on the phone and the fee waived.

Like Flying Free I have on occasion had the same issue, but on the whole the site works well for me. I have been hammering it constantly lately and have not been having any issues.

Booked MAD-LHR-DFW via AA's site earlier this month and it was flawless.
