Hi, folks. I have a problem and need to speak with a human.

The (automated) call tree doesn't offer a way to speak with a representative about Asia Miles issues. I called the Cathay Pacific office and they sent me to the same call tree in both Japan and Hong Kong.

I'll tell you my problem and perhaps you can provide some advice. I welcome positive, helpful comments.

I traveled this summer NGO-HKG-JNB round trip with my family on Cathay Pacific (CX). We put our Japan Airlines (JMB) numbers on our tickets. I was told it would take 6 to 8 weeks for the miles to post. I contacted Japan Airlines today to ask about it. They informed me that the booking class used for the CX flight is not eligible for JMB miles, but I could get Asia Miles. So, I created an Asia Miles account. When I tried to claim the miles the website informed me that they could only be claimed up to four weeks after the date of the flight.

I'm hoping someone at CX will understand my plight and credit the miles, which total about 63,000. However, I need to speak with a human to make this happen.

    TIA,

    Kento

Does CX allow family accounts? It sounds like you're trying to credit everyone's miles into one (new) account.

I don't know or really care at this point. I just feel like I lost out on a lot of miles.

I want to believe that a human on the other side of the phone would sympathize and credit the miles. I might actually use the Asia Miles. I want to take the family to Vietnam and Cambodia. If Cathay says no, I'll definitely look at other airlines.

What do you care what he's doing?

The point of his commentary is that when you call these "globalist" organizations, they don't feel obligated to communicate with you.

But they have no problem taking the $.

And wait a second, yeah I'm pretty much a non player in the day to day .anymore but you gosh darn communists had people in PHILLY flying to CUBA cheap on a certain shiny AL but it's near impossible to get back and forth into PHL in certain parts of FL.

Sticking with the only honest assessment, there's not too few AL's...too many ... and you all have one common core characteristic.

    You're Nutso.
