    Hello all -

I purchased a flight to Munich on United recently and used a $200 voucher that I received for volunteering my seat on an overbooked flight. It's a nonrefundable flight.

What happens if I cancel the flight? Do i get the cost of the flight as a credit that I can use towards another flight? Does my voucher become void?

    Thanks in advance!

Doh - didn't notice the typo in the title. sorry!

There are very many UA frequent flyers here. I am also, but do so for work, and my company's travel agency handles our bookings :)
That aside, I think that it will be very tough to get United to refund your flight cost and/or the voucher, but I'll gladly defer to Milepointers who are 100% certain.
And if it helps, I'll gladly send you my next $200 UA voucher received at the end of a long-haul flight when the toilets are stopped up, they run out of food, and the video monitors DNF. :(
