You're not going to be able to go anywhere but the US out of LHR on UA metal.
If you're going soon, you could do LHR-HKG on Air New Zealand

If this is a revenue trip in C I would suggest SQ or LX.

Won't be on UA Metal, AFAIK.

    Could do:
    SQ (LHR-SIN-HKG)
    LH (LHR-FRA-HKG)

It is not possible to do it on UA metal without touching US soil.

Once you get over that limitation there are a ton of options available with Star Alliance. LH, CA, LX, SA, TK, NH, OZ, TG, SQ and AC at least can get you there.

But be quick on the non-stop on Air New Zealand as they are stopping the route soon - can't remember when.

  9. AC LHR/YVR/HKG is a good routing.

It's too long if you're going to fly via the Atlantic and then the Pacific from Europe.

Not sure why you want UA metal, but you might be able to sneak a small amount of it in if you fly AC.

AC does a mileage limited fare (and explicitly allows trans-Atlantic + trans-Pac), but only requires the over-ocean flights to be AC metal. Depending on the MPM for that fare, you might be able to fly LHR-Canada-NRT and then UA metal from the NRT hub to HKG. That's a lot of hoops for 1800 miles on UA metal, but in theory it might be possible.

I couldn't find any other fare that would work. Air China seems to have MPM fare but restricts the within-region flights to carriers other than UA. ANA seems to only allow their own metal out of NRT.

ETA: You might also look at Eva Air. They have a MPM fare but strangely no flight restrictions unless you transit AMS. Maybe you could link up a ANA flight and a UA flight ex-NRT under that fare.

Are you requesting UA metal to attempt to use GPUs? They also can be used on LH but only as paper voucher upgrades and at the airport on the day of departure.
