Last week, saw Navi in the bulkhead pocket next to the larger EnRoute. The partial hub-city timetable was an interesting addition to the centrefold of Navi, although I`d have thought that a full timetable would be much more useful, and I`d even appreciate a halfway move of listing solely flights into (and out of) the Canadian hubs.

At first when I heard mention of the title, Navi, I wondered whether this upcoming `magazine` would be concerning itself with heavy civil construction. Given that I work in the vicinity of navvies (there`s a time-honoured occupational term!) much of the time, I`d argue that suchlike was a reasonable misperception on my part).

(And that`s what happens when English is one`s fifth language....)

Yes both are in the seat pocket. I think it saves them from reprinting the same info month after month in En Route plus adds some neat stuff as mentioned by Mevlannen above.

And, like en route, you can take it home with you.

    Duh.

Must have had a slow coffee day, yesterday, because it actually had not yet occurred to me that that one might take the copy of Navi home.

Honestly, I did give a few moments's wicked consideration to just how I might disbind the partial timetable from the rest of the pamphlet (it's too tiny to merit the appelation of 'magazine').

What would really please me no end would be to see the return of the printed timetable books, because those were darned handy for those moments when one does not have battery-power available on one's customary reading-frob.

['Frob' being a term of art from MIT, for any pocketable electronic thingummawhatzit]

I like the printed schedule in Navi but they only show their schedule for the current month. I would be great if they broadened it somewhat to include more months or the start and end dates on applicable routes.

If they really cared for their front-cabin customers, they would offer to us (upon request) good old-fashioned timetable books for the coming season. I miss picking them up in YYZ DOM.

Haven't seen Navi lately. Is its disappearance the price we must pay for the restoration of buttonholes on napkins?

I was on six segments this past week and there were none on any flight so I would assume they have stopped publishing NAVI.
