Having only used ThomsonFly for long haul in the past I am looking at a short break in Morocco. I have heard that on their shorter flights the seats are quite narrow and there is no way of lifting the arm up out of the way. A member of my party has wider hips although not a large person and finds it a struggle sometimes in this situation.
Has anyone else experience of this and a possible solution ?

Other airlines may or may not suffer this but the deal I can get on Thomson is too good to miss.

    Welcome to Milepoint.

Thompson Airways is a charter airline, your best bet would be to ask the airline. Or, buy ticket on a scheduled airline.

    Welcome to Milepoint!

I couldn't help noticing that Thompson also offers "Seats with Extra Space" for a premium, once the flight is selected on their website, see:
    http://flights.thomson.co.uk/en/index.html

You may also wish to inquire as to the width of such seats. Thompson does appear to be a "bare bones" transport airline, with extra charges for baggage, premium seating, etc.

I believe In the US we call those "legacy" or "network" carriers. :)
