I vote for the RC Naples....but I have heard good things about the LaPlaya Beach Resort. Maybe someone has been and can share the details?

Our first visit to the Ritz Carlton in Naples was about 18 years ago...not too long after it opened. The 'summer special' rate was $99! And we were upgraded to the Club Floor....It was our anniversary and I think the desk clerk thought that was a good reason to give us a treat. What a treat! Unfortunately it spoiled me....now I only want the club floor!

I am not a big fan of Naples, however the RC on club level is definitely the way to go if you choose to stay in Naples FL.

    Ritz-Carlton Naples
If you can get a coastal view room you'll get a nice view of the ocean, maybe even spot some dolphins.
The staff is fantastic. Great beach, nice pool, nice on-site store.

Bellasera is not on water. Nor is RC Golf. I mention this after being asked for directions by a couple looking for the RC Golf they had booked based on someone's recommendation - not knowing there were two. They were not happily surprised. The RC Golf Resort is at least 10 minutes drive to the beach.

For former visitors, the Naples Grande Resort was formerly called the Registry Resort.

And if you do get to the beach, it's the Gulf, not the ocean.

One place not mentioned is the Naples Beach Club. It's down in the city near "Old Naples" and has waterfront, golf, and spa.
