I know in the US, I often feel like smaller airports go overboard for clearing TSA...;)

I've been to NBO. It's alright for its size. It was pretty nifty seeing giraffes grazing across from the airport when driving in.

That's true, but I still enjoy flying into a lot of the small ones, especially on arrival where the TSA is not in play. More of an event than some random flight into a big airport you go through several times a year.

Giraffes. That must be qute something.

I had my own 'giraffe experience' one month ago, somewhat closer to home. An old circus owner keeps animals for filming purposes and you can wonder over and take a gander. It is not an advertised feature so it was a curious and unexpected thrill tostumble across them ( Chipping Norton, Oxford ).

Little doubt that is incomparable as an experience with seeing them roaming around freely in Nairobi
