    1) Book on (among others) xp's de es or uk sites
    2) Travel must include a transpac on Delta; this is a fare requirement
    3) One-way fare from RGN-YVR or RGN-YYC (or some others). I leave it to your imagination on the positioning flights, though some have been able to make transpacs work
    4) Book in economy. If you pick well, the long segments will ticket in C.
    5) Good through end of schedule (EOS)
    6) Trip must start on M, W, or Sa
    7) You may prefer to book only with carriers that have a US presence so the DoT rules (set on the last RGN mistake fare) apply to the entire itin :)

    TOBB thread.

Looks like Expedia.de is the favorite over there, or maybe travelocity.co.uk.

    Bring on Google Translate!

It most likely is still a currency issue, same as the last time around.

Found a couple on the xp uk site. No idea what to do with them, but as a newbie I was just happy to figure something out. ;-)

I got my OW ticket for under $80. Will replace a CX F award, but I guess I can live with flying NH/DL Biz at this price.

    Um. Yeah!

Think of it as a mileage run. Plus, saving 65K+ miles on the award ticket. Net swing of maybe 80K miles? Minus $80, of course.

Well, I'll have to position from within Asia, so minus 17.5k on that front. Plus position from SEA to PHX. Still, should be good. I like to save my AA, which are at almost drought conditions. :)

Depending from where, you might want to look into purchasing an Air Asia or SilkAir ticket. They can be had for below 150 SGD at times (Air Asia even less obviously).

I usually travel with heavy bags, so prefer the added benefits, lounge, luggage and bigger seat. I have nothing against AK, FD, etc, but not on this one. Plus no taxes on my TG award.

It's a fare to Jeddah, in Saudi Arabia. So making that work brings up a whole host of issues for travelers, especially American women. But even most others would have some hurdles to overcome to make that work.

    AFAIK, it is still bookable.

Lotsa directions to go with that one. Let's just leave it at "inadvisable."

Not sure if JED is a desirable destination even with the mistake fare.
    Maybe for a mileage run?
