    Folks,

Here's my mostly serious, weird I know, blog post about the KivaDo and how it affected me. Feel free to read the rest of my blog, but it will seriously rot your brain. You've been warned. It's been a blast meeting all of you.

    Graham

Not at all weird, it was a great read, and it gave me a sense of how it was to be at the DO. Thanks!

Excellent post and thank you for finding Charlie!!! He seemed genuinely impressed with the warmth our group showed him and in awe of the program (+Premal was in the room!)

I think one of the successes of this Do is that its goal of legacy can be felt in many ways -- be it recruiting new members, establishing the KLT MF, which I believe will be patterned by many teams, to the strengthening of the bonds we have with Kiva.

The future is bright, soak it all in and feel the warmth and brightness! :D

    Love your blog post!

As to what to do to support Kiva, I think I see a Kiva Fellowship in your future.

Yeah, but if MP sends a fellow, I'm expecting to go First on an awesome routing that takes me the longest way to my destination.

    BUZZZZZTTTT! Wrong answer!

you expect to get the full fellowship treatment just like anyone else, that means e-, or e+ (ua style) at the max my friend!

That also means you have to stay in one of those disgusting apartments, and eat on street food for your entire stay :D

Now, realistically, I don't see how Kiva, nor us, could possibly want to ever make someone get spoiled by first only to move into some of the conditions they do, and even pointswise spending, the'y probably rather have a little more for on the ground conditions, than a short time in the air, at least I know I would :)

You were at the dinner table there with Matt, what a great attitude from a CEO.

'What does it matter if I am in first? I am going to pop an ambien and wake up at the destination anyway?'

How many CEOs of a 'business' with a global impact, 100ish paid employees and almost 600 total (unpaid and paid together) staff would have such a frugal, content attitude?

Agreed. But I've been in front. I know what's happening behind the curtains.

Honestly, I'll just take regular Y on Virgin America. Especially if I can have the same crew as we did last week.

Oh and my middle name is "street food"

On a side note, the VX organizers were surprised no one took the seats in first!!! - what a polite crowd! :D

Actually they invited me up there when you went to teh pit. No idea why they waited that long, maybe they wanted us all to experience the back of the bus!

Thank you sir. As it was for me.

As a follow-up, I sent Premal a concept I had for a kids program in PP and he loved it and asked for more. I'll keep churning out if they keep finding use from it. This feels like the male redheaded version of How Stella Got her Groove Back. :)
