Just got an iPad and have been looking around for travel apps. These are what I have in addition to what comes with the iPad - United, milepoint, and FlightTrack. Are there others that you would recommend?

What I see there is the iphone not the ipad. Im looking for a specific ipad app. I already have KVS on my laptop and on my netbook. Would there be an additional charge for an ipad application.

Tripit for sure! Cant tell you how many jam's this app has gotten me outta. Also, a couple of non-travel apps with biz application: Bamboo Paper for a note pad. Awesome app. iAnnotate PDF for marking up PDF's with notes & highlights, SimpleMind+ for mind mapping ideas. Great way to file dump your mind on long flights, CNBC for market updates, I have at least one local Chicago news app (ABC 7 chicago), TripAdvisor, Nightstand clock or World clock works well too, Someone mentioned OpenTable - good call. That's all I can think of now

Without a doubt, the best app in the world is CityMaps2Go. Download any map from any city in the world and it does NOT require you to have a data connection. I use this app all the time in Paris and London. Cheap as well. The app was only $2 and the maps are free. Works on your iPad and iPhone. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Most that see it are amazed.
