    :mad::mad::mad:

    I just learned tonight that I might be involuntarily relocated from MSY to a city near BNA (Nashville) on a temporary basis, but the duration is currently unknown (i.e., not permanent, but for a year or more). :(

    If this comes to fruition, of course my first question is what airlines have hubs out of BNA, and how good/bad/craptastic is it for a (temporary) home base? I'd like to know what I'm in for since it seems the move might happen (30% stay/70% move).

    ETA:
    ^Any truth to this?

    I'm guessing you'll need to change your handle from MSYgirl to BNAgirl soon. :(

    List of Non-Stop flights directly from BNA:

    Seems like it's mostly SWA, but major airports are still served by AA or DL.

    Yes. AA used to have a larger operation there. They scaled down and WN scaled up.

    Thanks.

    Best of luck, MSYgirl - you got some great advice in this string! And I'm willing to bet that you'd have to get the whole city of Nashville up to speed on what a "King cake" is! :rolleyes:
