Early this morning, a woman passenger was told at TSA security that she could not take a package on through the checkpoint. She apparently left it at the check in counter, went back through security, and boarded he flight. In the meantime, pipes were reportedly sticking out of the "suspicious" package so that the bomb squad was called and the terminal was evacuated. The package contained a propane gas cannister. Apparently, the woman was pulled off of the plane and detained for questioning. The terminal is now reportedly reopened, but there are very long lines and some flights are delayed. Humphrey includes Southwest, SunCountry, and charter airlines. Legacy carriers such as DL, UA, US, and AA use Terminal 1 (Lindbergh), aka the main terminal. Lightrail service connects the terminals for free at about fifteen minute intervals during most of the day, with more frequent service at peak times.
