I am flying home for time off from work in Africa and I have nothing planned from Apr. 3rd to Apr. 15th.
So i thought I might do a MR....
I have compiled a MR that I think is worth it yet I am still balking....please help me decide.
Using DL's cheep airfare to Europe and the promo for UK members on BE flights to USA. (My company has a headquarters in UK), i get 100% bonus miles b/c I'm PM

    DCA-MCO/MCO-ATL-DCA (positioning flight)
    $209 a/i (3,612 miles/ 1,806 MQM)

    MCO-BOS-LHR/LHR-BOS-MCO (First and BE)
    $1,513 a/i (21,928 miles/13,156 MQM) + 50,000 bonus miles for the promo

Bottom Line: BE/F from MCO-LHR all for
    $1,722 a/i
    75,540 miles (2.28cpm)
    14,962 MQM (11.51 cpMQM)

    worth it?

There's no such thing as a bad MR! Just do it! Do you think you will make Diamond this year, or is this simply to maintain your PM status?

Would you be doing it for status, bonus miles, or the BE experience with the new flat bed seats? Over eleven cents per MQM seems expensive, but efficient and extremely comfortable. Depending on how they're used, the bonus miles could be worth close to the ticket price, for example BE (or low Y to Europe versus a moderately expensive ticket). I would do it, but plan to enjoy a few days in London.
