I found that living away from home, bringing a movie or a show that I can watch again and again to be helpful in soothing my homesickness.
    My list includes:
    Lord of the Rings trilogy
    Matrix trilogy
    Armagedon
    Star Wars trilogy
Trying to find a few others that I should buy next time I am back home. Any suggestions?

Which version of the "Parent Trap" - the original or the one with Lohan?
I enjoyed the original more but not sure it is one that I would watch again and again.

To name a few (well, to name 4:))

Yankee Doodle Dandy: Watching James Cagney dance is simply amazing

The Music Man: There's something about Buddy Hacket doing song and dance just kills me and did you know that "76 Trombones" & "Goodnight my Someone" are the same tune with the latter just slowed down. And did you further know that Robert Preston was born in my hometown of Newton, MA.

It's a Wonderful Life: Simply my all time favorite movie

Seven Days in May: Imho, a great film

I love most of these. But if you watch all these again and again, when do you have time for anything else!!??

Most of these are rarely on the air so I have PLENTY of time for everything else. :D We have maybe a collection of 5 DVDs. One of them is the Godfather DVD set. ^

Me too, and in a non-ironic way. ;) I don't know why, but this never gets old for me.

Also, the original Matrix (not so much on the 2nd/3rd installments), original Star Wars trilogy, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Braveheart, Roman Holiday, Aladdin (kids' influence).
