    I heard the restrictions too. However, I think those only smart bags powered by lithium batteries. Did I get it right?

    The article sites lithium specifically, but I would not expect an airline agent to differentiate by battery type.

    lovely, just another reason not to fly American Airlines. Rather fly Singapore Airlines or any european Airline or even Delta or United where they have nicer personnel and service. American Airlines is not a low cost and its service is far away from a normal airline.
