HTI was scenic. It was also interesting. When we first flew over it in our 737 I never thought we could land there.

It always depends on approach routes that day.

PLS is a favorite of mine. SYD of course. Any of the NYC airports where you end up with a view of the city.

SEZ was very impressive as was DXB.

And of course ZRH because it looks like such a small town airport.

Lastly IGR because it feels like it is just a cut out in the jungle.

I have to agree with DCA on the river visual if you've managed to get a port side window seat. Not so scenic on the Mount Vernon approach though.

Sitting on the right side of the plane coming in over Lake Washington, the Sound, and Seattle is my first favorite. Second favorite is taking off through the clouds and the only object on the horizon being Mt Rainier poking through the clouds.

Yes, I enjoy that one; SLC is also quite striking.

Agree with DCA. I also like YUL if approaching from the north-east, beautiful port-side view of downtown, Mt. Royal, Oratoire St-Joseph.

My favorite remains LUG on a sunny day - great views of alps, lakes, villages... and hills very close by! [IMG]

BOS depending on the approach used, PVD if taking off/landing over the bay, SLC on a clear day, and KOA (or for that matter any Hawaiian island).

It's especially beautiful at night. I always came in from PHL and the monuments are all lit up.
