Alaska Air Group is dishing out bonuses to its 12,800 employees after exceeding several company goals last year.

Most of Alaska’s workers will earn a bonus of 6.7 percent of annual pay – about three weeks pay, according to AvStop.com, an online aviation magazine. That comes on top of $1,000 bonuses most employees earned last year for meeting monthly on-time and customer-satisfaction goals. All together, Alaska Air Group is paying out about $72 million.

This is why it is impossible to reserve a bungalow at any of the top resorts in Bora Bora for the next year!

Good initiative from Alaska. I think all US airlines should learn from Alaska's model!
