These folks at AirlineRoute.Net are morons... CO/UA 1347 is a Training Flight for Reservations/Airport/Operations Agents to perform on during Training & Recurrent as well... I have personally used 1347 a couple of times when I worked for United Express and CoEx on two separate platforms (Fastair & Shares).

I'll gladly upgrade anyone to First Class for free if they managed to book themselves on 1347 =D

The difference is that it now shows up in SABRE.

Calling people "morons" because you're privy to company information is a bit tacky no? It's not like they said it was an official flight, they simply pointed out its existence. Geez.

Maybe that was a bit rude calling them morons. So I do apologize for being hasty but I am reading stuff left and right about this on most forums. I had come to the conclusion to call them "morons" but you're right it shouldn't have been loaded onto Sabre however it was as a result of the flight numbers renumbering between UA/CO.

I think so, since you might even get them to load it as a special configuration with only first class seats :p

I'll make a phone call and request that they install lie flats on this aircraft for the MUC-EWR-CGN segments but I'll just take the DSB between MUC/CGN.

Plug your favorite 13XX number into the flight status page and see what comes up. There are dozens of these 'ghost flights' used for CRS training purposes.

On the United site, up until recently, many of these flights displayed as 737-200s, 767-200s, and DC-10s. They're a legacy from Apollo, I believe.

Here's a Systemwide Upgrade valid on 13XX flights that you can use in the future... :p
