    I find nice [ they have a nice marketing machine ] / sad [ nickel and dime ] how Spirit Airlines and some others " sell " this " service " as positive!:eek:

    Maybe, the airlines should entertain the idea of putting more baggage in the belly of the aircraft. This can be accomplished with some fee modification. ;)

    The airlines clearly believe that charging for baggage and thus having people carry on to avoid this still beneficial to the bottom line. They don't appear to be reversing that move. This is a move that will hopefully improve boarding times and on-time departures... nothing wrong with that.

    On-Time departures are nice, but not always at a higher cost!;)

    Since late departures cost the airlines money in the form of airport fees, that will certainly trump passenger consideration in their decision-making process. :confused:
