I realized that we don't seem to have a MLB thread. I cannot be the only baseball fan on the board. I am inspired to start this thread to tip my cap to Josh Hamilton. Tonight he his 4 2 run homers and a double against the Orioles and knocked in 8 runs. Nice game Josh.

The Rangers have a very good team and would seem to be a favorite to make their 3d WS in a row.

    What do you all think?

I only worry that the Rangers will make it again to the World Series and blow it again. I went to game 4 two years ago and would love to the opportunity to go to another WS.

Hamilton is having a ridiculous year so far. I wonder what he will get at the end of the year in free agency...

Oh and I have to say- Let's Go Mets!

The long term financial investment made into ARod and Tex is starting to look bad. Too early in Pujols deal to draw any conclusions.

When will baseball owners realize they should cap their deals at 3-5 years to players?

I'd love to know how old Pujols really is? For him to sign that kind of deal in St. Louis I get it but for a new team to step in and give 10 years for someone around 33 and showing some decline, wow...

As for Hamilton I think a 3-5 year deal is fair for him. I just hope he stays away from the liquor and drugs.

How do the Mets get a no hitter before Verlander? That's what I can't believe. :p

I never thought the day would come but so glad it did. How about another World Series win. OK, I'll settle for at trip back to the playoffs.
I wrote a short, little post about the Mets- Johan no-hitter on my blog HERE.
