Missing Logo on United Mobile Boarding Pass

    I used mobile.united.com today to check-in for a flight. After getting over the fact that it now features the new (old) logo, I went ahead and checked-in for the flight.

    When I got the email to click on the link to get my mobile boarding pass, I was wondering if it would show the United logo or the new (old) logo. Turned out it was completely missing any logo. It just had a grey banner and then below it the barcode.

    Anyone else seen this?

    FWIW, neither the TSA or the gate readers had issues with the missing logo.

    While the latter doesn't surprise me, the former certainly does as lord knows what some (n.b. some) TSO's think (n.b. think) ;)

    Fyi, no UA/CO logo on my mobile BP. Also got the small "Pr Exec" this time. Sometimes, it says "PR EXEC" in all caps large font. Not sure why that varies. You'd think there'd just be one consistent template, right?

    If it scans, that's all the TSA guy/gal cares about. Logo or no logo.

    And the logo is back, albeit the "new" logo.

    And I don't know who is doing United's graphic design these days, but boy have they taken a step (or two) backwards. Who does white text on a light background? :eek:
