A friend of mine and myself both got emails today saying our AA Visa cards were declined and that our mint orders were being canceled. Our cards are no where near maxed out and I have been using my card else where with no issues.

Has anyone else been having issues with their cards and the mint?
(I think I should have put this in the card forum, sorry)

Same thing happened to me today. I called the mint and they said that it was an error. The reason the order didn't process for me was due to the fact that my order was within 10 days of a previous order. They re-ran the order and there was no problem with the CC.

These posts belong in the "Presidential Coins thread - How to get miles for free" thread.

You both got emails? From the Mint or from Citi? Both of you?

We both got emails from the Mint, not Citi.

Did the E-mail you got read like this:
I ask because my order was made after the 10 day wait period.
Anyway I'm going to make a new order and see if it happens again.

As suggested by "dayone" we should really keep everything in the master coin thread.

Totally disagree. Do you really want a 1000 page mega thread?

More than having to wade through a dozen coin threads to find stuff I'm actually interested in.

I agree. It's much easier to look through one long thread than 10 smaller threads, especially when I try to go back to find certain information and can't remember which "small" thread it's located in.

At least the smaller threads might stay on topic. You would be able to look at the title and hopefully that is what the thread is about.

I participate in this program but I don't want this forum littered with 20 different, "I got a coin question" threads. I agree it needs to all stay in the one master thread.

Only until the thread gets larger. Also, these threads are duplicative. This issue is discussed in the original thread.

It looks like that this may have been another Mint glitch. Any updates?

My friend made a new order and all seems well... He got a shipping notification on Friday.
I have not yet made a new order, have not a had any free time.
