Lufthansa has decided to kick back!

Are you a status customer with Flying Blue?
Then why not give us a try? You will enjoy the equivalent status withMiles & More after just one flight and you can earn many extra award miles on your favourite route.

Hehe, that's interesting. I just had my SK*G matched to Flying Blue Gold so now I can also get a LH*G - if I had anything to use it for, I guess it's a bit overkill to do to secure my premium blocked economy seats SFO-FRA: http://milepoint.com/forums/threads/who-has-access-to-lhs-premium-blocked-seats.10199/

...even more SENs in the already overcrowded lounges.
To be honest I am no fan of status matches. It simply devalues the programs, which is a slippery road for everyone !
At the end of the day everybody loses out by enhancements to the programs.
(HON is now the new SEN if you compare the benefits to 10 years ago)

I just had my OZ*G matched to AF Gold, and actually just finished my first legs of an AF trip since 2003. And I wouldn't have done that without status. I have already asked for a match to SEN, based on the AF Gold-status.
Since I am already qualified with OZ*G until 06/2014, I might use the M&M-card then...

Alas this is true. And meanwhile today Italy has announced an extra tax on high speed train tickets (>250 km/h) probably making some air routes interesting once again- too bad altogether on the loss of LH Italia.

    It's Italy, you know.
I don't suppose I need to tell you who runs that country - it is hilarious :)
