I will fly YVR SHA in May.
I want to take either CX and ug using Asia Miles (lowest fare available at this time is M, so I could easily pay for K), or should I add to my already heavy EQM count and fly YVR DFW LAX SHA?
If I take CX I also want to stopover in HKG.
I also like CX J better but AA will give me more miles.
P.S. I have ' moved' to SFO for DEQM.

Cx j is so much better than AA j. That would drive my decision.

If the sole basis for the decision is which is the better hard/soft/service product, I'd agree wiht NYBanker, CX J hands down.
If the sole basis for the decision is which gains more miles, than as you say, perhaps AA.

As for "moving" to SFO solely for a promo, I could be wrong, but I beleive AA has become more adept at catching promo-driven, temporary relocations.

I took the CX flight as I want to renew Gold there next year.
As for the' move', I've 'been' there for the last 3+ months.
