Since the upgrade tonight:
Would be quite nice to get that back.
Here I thought that I was the only one without access to the smilies. 1
What browser are you using?
I am on IE 7
Strange. I tried it on a W8 in Chrome and it worked as should. I'll pass it along to someone here a little smarter on this stuff than I.
Which version of Windows are you using?
windows 7 version 6.1 service pack 1
That's not the BBCode editor.
You're using the rich-text editor which I find rather slower and less pleasant to work in.
Maybe I should wait until after my first cup of coffee next time before responding
We'll get it worked out. Sorry about the issue.
Anyone else using IE having this problem ?
After the last time I posted (and after it took me a few seconds to realize what the actual problem was... sorry!) I used BrowserStack to test multiple OS and browser combos. It seems pretty across the board.
Our programmer is in and these fixes are his top priority today. We should hopefully have it fixed soon.
In a different vein -- I really *dislike* that arial is no longer the default - it's really painful to read this font.
Well, incidentally th smilies are finally available again in Safari on iOS. They had been MIA for ages (there's a thread about it somewhere)
Oops, spoke too soon. Still broken in non-RTE. And other things broken, too. Eg editing existing message (hence replying to myself).
+1. It's burning my eyes.
Everything works fine for me on Chrome 32 on XP and Windows 8.
And yes the new font is horrendous
Smilies have an issue, but we're getting there
Is the up arrow (to go back to the top of the page) gone now?!
iOS 7 safari display is totally messed up, display seems correct in landscape but not portrait.
Can you post up a screenshot? Also, what phone and version of iOS7 are you using?
The cursor positioning bug in the BBCode editor is still an issue. Basically if you highlight some text and then click one of the icons (e.g. the chain to insert a link) the tags are added but instead of leaving the cursor where it was it goes out to the right by the total number of characters which were inserted into the code. It is pretty annoying, though easy enough to key/click back to overcome.

There's no panel on right. Used to work. I'm using ios 702 on iPad
Using Safari 6.0.5 on Mac looks like the acronym definer isn't popping up any definitions when selecting a term.
Thanks to everyone for pointing things out. A couple things we actually didn't realize and have since fixed them or they're on the list to be done soon.
This one I'm going to explain soon when I make a larger post about the upgrade.
Thanks again everyone and keep it coming! (not that we necessarily want it to )
