Milepoint and the polite transformation of naughty words.

    I sometimes like to use robustly expressive language. It allows one to channel one's energies in a constructive manner and provide mood context to what might otherwise be construed as plain, boring text.

    Now, in using certain terms on milepoint, I have noticed that, while the system accepts the original language, once one saves a post, any words flagged as offensive by the system display as benign, pre-programmed alternates, some of which become contextually humorous. This is good too, because one obviously does not want to post offensive or boorish material on the internet - that just wouldn't do at all.

    On the other hand, I thought it might be rather fun to decipher the transformation of milepoint naughty words to polite code by writing popular phrases in a post and seeing how they display once the post is saved.
