Hey guys, i was recently upgraded to the 'first class' cabin when i was originally on a T class economy ticket. I was wondering if it still qualifies for mileage accrual. If so, Would be it on the T class bonus or the F class bonus. FYI, i flew around the first of march and still have no received my miles yet. Hence, the uncertainty whether its a glitch during transition or just it being non qualifying. Hope that you guys can help answer my query.

    :)

    Welcome to MP :)

No, you don't qualify for extra miles. The only situation in which you'd get extra miles is if you had "bought up" to F ahead of the flight. But straight upgrades don't qualify.

As far as delays in posting miles, they're frequent these days, you may want to call UA...

I believe that mileage is now posting after 5 days, new or old CO policy, I think.

Despite claims that the "policy" is 5 days, that is not the case. It can take a few days, but 24-48 hours later is not uncommon at all.

My last flights TLV EWR SFO YVR, exactly 5 days, my flights from YVR to TLV prior to merger 2 days. I don't care if it takes 3 or 4 or 5 or whatever as long as they post in a reasonable amount of time.

Yup and hold onto all your bp's and e-receipts and keep tabs on all you MP aspects such as RDM's, PQM's PQS's and lifetime balances as mileage is still not posting correctly

I've taken a VDB voucher (for a deep discount econ fare) and been re-booked to F. The mileage credit that posted later was for an F fare. It made me :)

There have been several flights this month that have been posting as Y fares. They seem to be the ones that I've applies RPUs to, and the ones that didn't post until I filled out the form on the website. I'm not complaining.
