Michaela murder hotel renamed - and is top for honeymoons
It's good to see the resort rebound. That can be hard to overcome for a hotel or resort. I wonder if good pricing along with the other efforts was part of the plan by the hotel at some point?
I would think so too, they rebranded, maybe renovated and they repositioned the hotel. It's 3 years on from the terrible murder case, but in Ireland it still lingers on, the case made / makes still big headlines, no-one has been held responsible for the murder of Michaela, but as we all understand in "business terms" the hotel had to move on, at least on TA it looks like the hotel these days is well received by their target audience, honeymooners. Don't forget Michaela was there also as an honeymooner. It's a five star luxury hotel, I would guess at least at the beginning after the rebranding, "incentives" and "special offers" might have been given to guests at the time.
