I give this a huge S5 has a proven track record and does a very good job of managing the E170/5 operation for UA and DL.
Yeah, clearly UA didn't pick Mesa for its operational reliability. Of course, ExpressJet's reliability is a far cry from what it once was, but I'd still rather see them flying these planes than Mesa. I'm sure it was a case of the lowest bidder winning.
