    Hi all,

We are talking about a trip to the Amalfi Coast next year. On the way to work today, I heard a commercial for Meridiana, an airline that flies (among other places) from NYC to Naples.

Checked them out just now and see the FF currency is Avios. Has anyone every used them? Any way to find out their availability for Business Class? Appreciate any feedback.

    Thanks

Thanks. Still would love to know how to find their award availability.

Pretty sure you need to call. That's what I've seen mentioned elsewhere.

    HOW TO USE AVIOS

Just one phone call to the number +39 0789 52865 to use the points!
Check your points balance online, choose a destination for your holiday and book your flight by phoning the Meridiana Club Call Centre.
For all members of the Meridiana Club that have accrued the Avios balance points necessary to obtain a reward, simply call the Meridiana Club call centre to proceed with the reservation.
Now with Meridiana club flying becomes a gift opportunity, in fact, this situation applies to those that are entitled or to another person expressly indicated.
And what if the flight is for children? With Meridiana Club for children under the age of 2, the Avios total required for reward tickets is 10% of the thresholds specified in the “Avios usage table ”.

Thanks to all. Now have to decide if I want to go First on BA with a 2-4-1 (if I can get it!) or Business on Meridiana. That said, nice to have options.

    Barcaloungers! :)

(my bigger concern would actually be the size of their widebody fleet -- one A330 and three B767s. Not a lot of flexibility if one of them goes MX... would they put you on BA if that happens?)

Surely this applies only if you're a member of Meridiana Club?

If the OP wants to use Avios that are held in a BAEC account (as the reference to a 2-4-1 suggests), I would expect it to be necessary to call BAEC.
