I was reading that AA says some Platinum cards don't grant club access. Does the MB version offer AA as well as DL and US? That 50k offer on the benz card seems to be better for impatient folks who want to run an AOR without waiting for a new offer with a potential big spend requirement. Thanks, Mo
Actually it does ,I used it multiple times.... the card comes with every benefit that the "basic" platinum offers
I have accessed the Admirals Club multiple times using the MB Platinum card. You should have no issues doing so.
I've looked online several times and don't see that benefit. Can someone tell me where it is stated as I know someone who would like the card if the lounge access is included. She is presently paying $450.00 for the regular platinum and the Mercedes is much less expensive.
There are two cobranded MBZ cards from Amex, but only one of them is a cobranded Amex Plat with all of its normal features and it is $25 more than normal Plat at $475. You get extra Benzcentives.
although MB Plat has normal plat goodies, I will say that from my reading I didn't read the MBZ Plat had the $200 airline fee credit, but I may be mistaken. I just didn't see that benefit on its product landing page on Amex.com, but other standard things like lounge access were there. It sounds like some of you have MB plat already and get the $200? Can someone confirm?
Thanks for the info. I was reading about the regular Mercedes Amex card not realizing that it was not the platinum. The cost was only $95.00 and it sounded great if lounge was included, but I was mistaken.
it has the $200 airline credit too.got reimbursed last year for 500 miles AA stickers and in january for 2x 100 gift cards...
This is incorrect. The MB Platinum card includes AA, DL and US access, the same as the regular Platinum charge card. Here is the information from the card's website. Though AA isn't listed in the headline (US and DL are), if you read footnote 7, you will see that AA is included. https://www.mbfs.com/mbfsr/en/misc/creditCard.do
